Offline CRM: an app that does not need a connection

Answer

CRM: Customer & Sales Tracker works fully offline. Every single-user feature — customer records, appointments, alarms, sales, installments, analytics, Excel and PDF export — runs from a local database on the phone, with no server call at any point. Turn on flight mode and nothing changes.

Key facts

Connection needed
None for any single-user feature
Where data lives
A local database on your own device
Server calls in personal mode
Zero
Reports generated
On the device, offline
Optional online part
Team sync only, through the manager Google Drive

Offline-first, not offline-tolerant

There is a real difference between an app that caches a few screens for the tunnel and an app that never needed the network in the first place. This one is the second kind. The customer list is a database file on the phone; the analytics are computed from it on the spot; the Excel file is written by the app itself, on the device, with no upload step.

That is why there is no spinner, no "syncing…" bar and no conflict dialog in the single-user app. There is nothing to sync with.

  • A market stall or a village with one bar of signal — same speed as anywhere
  • A basement salon, a workshop with metal walls, a hospital corridor
  • A flight, a ferry, a mountain road
  • A prepaid phone whose data ran out on the 20th of the month
  • Any moment your provider is having a bad day

What offline buys you beyond convenience

Speed is the obvious one: opening a customer with 400 sales behind them is a local query, not a round trip. The quieter benefit is that nothing can be intercepted, mis-configured or breached in transit, because nothing travels. There is no vendor database holding your customer list, so there is no vendor breach that can include it.

The trade-off is equally plain: if the phone is lost and you never made a backup, the data is gone. Take a backup — it is one tap in the settings, and the app also keeps a silent safety snapshot every three days.

The one part that does use the network

The paid team workspace has to move data between phones, so it uses a connection when one is available. Even then each phone keeps a full local copy and stays usable offline; changes queue up and go out when signal returns. The transport is the manager own Google Drive, and every change is encrypted on the device before it leaves.

Frequently asked questions

Does the app work in flight mode?

Yes. Every single-user feature works with the radio off, including appointment alarms, sales entry, the analytics dashboard and Excel or PDF export.

Where is my customer data stored?

In a local database inside the app private storage on your own device. In personal mode it is never uploaded anywhere and Deepliy operates no server that holds it.

What happens if I lose the phone?

Offline storage means the data goes with the phone. Use the one-tap backup file and keep a copy somewhere safe; the app also writes an automatic safety snapshot every three days and keeps the last three.

Can two phones share data without a connection?

No — sharing between phones needs a transport. The team workspace syncs through the manager Google Drive when a connection is available, and each phone keeps working offline in between.

Does the app drain battery keeping something in sync?

In personal mode there is no background sync at all. Only appointment alarms wake the device, and only at the time you set.
