Installments, partial payments and money owed
A sale can be split into installments, each with its own due date and amount. Payments are recorded individually, including partial ones, so a debt reduces as it is actually paid. The pending payments screen lists everyone who owes you money right now, with overdue amounts marked in colour.

The question the screen answers
Small businesses rarely fail because of bad sales. They fail because money that was earned never arrived, and nobody could remember exactly who was behind. The pending payments screen exists to answer one question without arithmetic: who owes me money, how much, and how late are they.
- Every outstanding balance in one list
- Overdue amounts marked in colour so they cannot be scrolled past
- Each row opens the sale and the customer behind it
- Balances update as partial payments are recorded
Installments the way customers actually pay
A furniture shop takes a third now, a third on delivery, a third a month later. A tutor is paid four times a term. A repair shop takes a deposit. Each of those is an instalment plan with dates and amounts, and each instalment can raise a reminder when its date arrives.
Partial payments matter as much as the plan. If a customer pays 300 against a 500 instalment, that is what gets recorded, and the remaining 200 stays visible until it is settled.
Where the numbers end up
Collection is reported separately from revenue everywhere in the app. The analytics dashboard shows what you sold and what you actually collected in the same period, per currency, which is the pair of numbers that tells you whether a good month was really a good month.
Frequently asked questions
Can I record a payment that only covers part of an instalment?
Yes. Payments are recorded individually and reduce the balance by whatever was actually paid. The remainder stays outstanding and visible.
How do I see everyone who owes me money?
The pending payments screen lists every outstanding balance in one place, with overdue amounts colour coded and a tap through to the sale and customer.
Do I get reminded when an instalment is due?
Yes. An instalment due date can raise a reminder the same way an appointment does, so the phone tells you when to make the call.
Does the app take the payment?
No. It records payments you have already received in cash, by transfer or by card elsewhere. There is no card processing inside the app.
Is revenue the same as collected money in the reports?
No, and that is deliberate. Order revenue and collected amounts are reported as two separate figures, per currency, in the analytics and in the exported reports.
