Appointment and payment reminders by WhatsApp or SMS

Answer

Tap the reminder button on an appointment or an unpaid sale and the app fills in a short message with the name, date, time and amount already in place. It opens in WhatsApp or your SMS app as editable text. You read it, change it if you want, and press send. The app never sends anything on its own and never routes a message through a server.

Why the app does not send for you

Automatic reminders sound convenient until the first one goes to the wrong person at 7 in the morning, or a customer replies and nobody sees it. A message from a small business is personal; it arrives from your number, in your words, and the reply comes back to you.

So the app stops one step short. It does the part that is tedious — remembering who, looking up the date, typing the amount — and leaves the part that carries your name to you.

What the drafted message looks like

Short, plain and in the customer language of your interface. No emoji, no sales phrasing, and the app name never appears: it should read as if you typed it.

  • Hello Ayse, just a reminder about your appointment on 14 March at 15:00. See you then.
  • Hello, a reminder about the outstanding 1,250, due 20 March. Thank you.
  • Hello Mehmet, it has been a while since we last saw you. We would be glad to have you back whenever suits you.

Where the buttons are

Each button says which channel it will open, so WhatsApp and SMS are never confused with one another. If a number has no WhatsApp, the SMS button still works.

ScreenMessage it draftsWhen you use it
Appointment detailReminder with date and timeThe day before, or when confirming a new booking
Sale with a balancePayment reminder with amount and due dateAn instalment that has come due
Customer detailThank you, or a come-back messageAfter a job is finished, or for someone who stopped coming

No message service, no phone number of yours stored anywhere

There is no bulk sender, no campaign tool and no third-party messaging API in the app. The draft is handed to the app already on your phone through the normal Android share mechanism, which means nothing about the message reaches us, and there is no per-message cost beyond what your own SMS plan charges.

It also means the feature works the same in every country, without a local gateway or a business account.

Frequently asked questions

Can the app send reminders automatically?

No, by design. It drafts the message and opens WhatsApp or your SMS app with the text ready; you press send. Alarms and notifications on your own phone are the automatic part.

Do I need a WhatsApp Business account?

No. The draft opens in whichever WhatsApp is installed, personal or business, and SMS needs nothing at all.

Is there a charge per message?

None from us. WhatsApp messages cost nothing extra, and SMS costs whatever your own mobile plan charges.

Can I edit the text before sending?

Yes. It arrives as ordinary editable text in the messaging app, so you can rewrite any part of it or add a line.

What language is the message in?

The language your app interface is set to. All 45 interface languages have the templates translated, right-to-left ones included.
