The customers who stopped coming back

Answer

The home screen carries a card for customers who have not been back: no sale and no appointment in the last 90 days, or 30, 60, 180 or 365 if you prefer. It is calculated from actual sales and appointments in your own records, so it stays true whether or not anyone remembers to update anything. Tap a name and a come-back message is drafted for WhatsApp or SMS.

Most CRMs measure this with a field nobody fills in

The usual approach is a "last contacted" column that somebody is supposed to update after every call. In a one-person business that column is empty within a fortnight, and every report built on it is quietly wrong.

This app never had that column. It looks at the two things you do record because the work depends on them — sales and appointments — and takes the later of the two as the last time that customer was actually in front of you.

Choosing the number of days

Ninety days is the default because it fits most trades: a hairdresser expects someone back inside a month, a dentist inside six. Change it in Settings and every screen follows the new number immediately.

  • 30 days — salons, barbers, anything with a monthly rhythm
  • 60 to 90 days — repair shops, tutors, consultants
  • 180 days — insurance, property, seasonal trades
  • 365 days — anything with a yearly renewal

From the list to the message

The card on the home screen shows the count; opening it gives the names with the date each one was last in. From a name you can open the customer, see the full history, or draft the come-back message and send it from your own WhatsApp or SMS.

Nothing is sent for you and nobody is contacted in bulk. It is a list of people worth a message, not a campaign.

In a team workspace

Each member sees the lapsed customers inside their own portfolio, so the list is a working list rather than a leaderboard. The manager, who sees everything, gets the whole picture.

Frequently asked questions

How does the app decide a customer has lapsed?

No sale and no appointment recorded within the number of days you chose. Both are checked, and the more recent one counts.

Can I change the 90 days?

Yes — Settings has a lapsed customer threshold with 30, 60, 90, 180 and 365 days. Every screen updates at once.

Does it send messages by itself?

No. It drafts a short come-back message and opens WhatsApp or SMS; you decide whether to send it and to whom.

Does archiving a customer remove them from the list?

Yes. Archived customers are kept but stay out of the working lists, which is the point of archiving instead of deleting.
